About Us

Peninsula Roller Girls, Inc. is a non-profit amateur sports league, dedicated to learning, playing and promoting women’s flat track roller derby. We are owned and operated by the skaters, for the skaters. Our structure provides members with the opportunity to develop leadership and business skills. We welcome women of all skating levels, and we embrace diversity of age, racial and ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical ability, and economic situation among our league members. We work to build a positive relationship with women in the community by providing a place to play and watch roller derby, and we engage with our community through entertainment and outreach. Our league is a catalyst for the empowerment of women: skaters transform themselves by building their athleticism and embracing new challenges. As a non-profit organization, PRG endeavors to give back to the community via donations to other charities and non-profit organizations.

Our home teams, the Damas de los Muertos and the Psychopathogens, play intraleague bouts against each other at Redwood Roller Rink in Redwood City. The Slam Andreas, our travel team competes across the country and hosts other leagues at home in Redwood City. Our culture encourages female empowerment, physical fitness, fun, and community engagement.
PRG became a member of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association in June 2015.
